The Myanmar Logistics and SCM Association strategic goal is to ensure that the logistics sector constitutes the key utility required to provide and enable the needs of national and international economies and social necessities. The logistics equation confirms that everything which we consume is the product of a logistics operation and supply chain planning.

Our association aims to provide competency training to our members. Our members will understand that the complex supply chains move raw materials to manufacturing sites, and finished goods to end users. Foodstuffs are transported from farm to market, from market to factory, and from factory to shop or home for the convenience of individual and family consumption. Nothing has a value or usage until it is received by its customer – and it is the logistics sector which carries out this process.

Our association will impart the knowledge in global supply chain that products made in China is consumed in USA and Europe; food grown in Africa will end up on American plates; life saving drugs produced in Europe save lives in Asia, precision machines developed and produced in Switzerland provide factories in the Far East with accurate precision.

MLCSM exists to ensure that Myanmar will grow globally with the growth of logistics globally and Myanmar will benchmark the best practices and support companies in Myanmar.
