iLSCA was formed in 2004 as a non profit association to promote the importance of Purchasing and Materials Management for economic advancement.
It was formed by a group of logistics and supply chain professionals from India and having many years experiences in the supply chain industry.
Objectives of iLSCA
- iLSCA actively fosters and promotes professional development of purchasing, materials and logistics management.
- iLSCA key objective is to upgrade educational standards of the profession by providing training and certification to meet the increasing demand for qualified and competent workforce of the industry.
- iLSCA fosters a wider recognition of practical standards of efficient supply chain management amongst its members.
- iLSCA will also define the code of conduct for ethics to ensure the high standards of business ethics and guide practitioners in performing their daily duties.
